When Avis at Stansted Airport contacted us saying they needed a solution to resolve their issues with segregating their wet and dry working areas, they did not expect things to be resolved so easy.
Avis were having relentless problems trying to maintain the dry working area but found it extremely difficult as it was right next to the car wash section. A divide of some sort was required but it needed to be integrated into their existing surroundings.
Speedflex proposed to install a high speed door at the end of the carwash that only opened to let the vehicle out. The remainder of the time the door would remain closed therefore eradicating the effects previously experienced with water being transferred to other areas.
The end result meant a high speed door was installed that had a counter weight system so that in the event there was power failure at the carwash, the door would automatically open letting the vehicle out.
This has since proved very effective and has made the working environment a much dryer place.
